While it's said that the Lauren Sanchez and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' wedding will cost around $500 million dollars, the average U.S. wedding costs around $35,000. 
But... there are many ways to rob from Peter to pay Paul in this budgeting spreadsheet. 
Consider 86-ing items that you may be able to live without: Bridesmaid luncheon, Limo (don't even consider axing the table linens ;-).
